A motivated self-starter who is always been eager to learn and expand on his own skills. He has completed his B-Des, four year degree with distinction at Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design Lahore; besides he has training in Cad Cam, stone setting, soldering, filing, sanding, forging & raising, chasing & repousse, oxidation and reduction, inlay, wax carving, buffing & polishing, patina application, tumbling and beading. After completing graduation he started exhibiting his work in
Pakistan. He also worked with local, international designers, craftsmen and discovered a number of techniques. In 2015 he introduced Pashtun contemporary jewelry. The inspiration was taken from the designs, found in the traditional wood carvings of Swat valley, Pakistan. The aim was to develop a fusion of Eastern and Western jewelry techniques to give boost to the existing jewelry market. The jewelry collection was focused on making lightweight and fine jewelry. The concept was to bring Western influence in the Eastern jewelry, which strikes latest fashion trends. The idea was to utilize the philosophy of designing traditional jewelry by using similar design elements and that is how he developed a number of different compositions. He aims to use techniques like inlay, filigree, etching, die cutting and metal stamping. All of the above mentioned techniques are being used for lightweight and fine jewelry collections in the market. His work was covered by newspapers, magazines and tv channels.
